My first GE microwave was installed end of 2017. Had continued issues so they replaced in Feb 2018. Unfortunately, it stopped working (turntable not rotating and no longer heating) so I had to replace it yet again. I'm hoping this new unit lasts longer than 4 years.

It works well and its very spacious the complaints are: The stainless still is not finger print safe and its very sensible if you are close o try to wipe the panel.

I have had GE Profile appliances through the years and stick with them. We are replacing a previous profile built-in Microwave from 2007 that is no longer available. It is getting harder to find dimensions that fit and this profile fits in the same space as the older one. All the features seem the same and I am looking forward to many years of use with this appliance also.

We had a new GE profile microwave in 2017, it only lasted for 5 years, which is disappointing. So we had to buy this one, it's the only one that matches but it shows fingerprints so much more than the last one we had

I'm so happy with this microwave! It took me reading the instructions to use the settings, etc properly...had to try on my own first :) It heats very fast, so takes some getting used to after my old one. It's nice looking and the inside is very large, will fit anything I want to cook in there. Good choice.

there's nothing special about it, especially since I am still waiting for the cabinet trim to arrive. A microwave that is nothing special. Good wattage. One thing Ilike is that I can silence the buttons that way I don't awake anyone in the middle of the night :) At the end of the day, it does what it needs to do, and does it right.

After seven years and one warranty repair of of our PEB7226SF1SS (11/14 mfg), our door switch failed again. Rather than try to repair, we decided to replace with this model as the SS that matched the Profile wall oven of similar vintage is no longer available. The new trim kit in stainless for this unit is also not available so we are now sporting a new no stainless look. The good news is that this one fits in the cabinet opening and we did not use a trim kit last time. This unit functions the same as the old unit with minor differences: the interior is a dark gray, the clock display is white and can be turned on or off, the LED font is larger and there is a new butter soft/melt sensor. This unit heats more quickly so oatmeal (1 1/2 cups) is ready in 5 minutes instead of 6 and a half stick of butter melts in 40 seconds not 45 so a little readjustment for use. The only other difference is that the door seems lighter and closes with a slightly less solid sounding catch. On the install, the overall depth is the same but the bottom edge is 1/2 inch greater than before which required adjusting my jury rigged backstop the same amount. The cord is long enough to plug in while the unit is on the adjoining counter which made the install easier than expected. Although I would have preferred an SS model (available in the PES series), this unit is close enough for our needs. Color outside looks black not gray to me. Longevity? TBD. At least someone will service a GE product here in rural New Hampshire.

So powerful it overcooks and melts everything. Now, less than a year old, it has quit working altogether. Cannot unplug to reboot because it's built-in. GE contractors were undependable no-shows and the retailer is no help at all. Difficult to find local service.

It heats very well and like the features like quick minutes and things, but the turn table is very noisy. We tried to reposition it but it makes a lot of noise no matter what. We are used to quieter appliances and have found GE to be pretty noisy.

I love the loves of this microwave and it's features. Unfortunately, it only lasted for 1 1/2 years, 7 months out of warranty. Because it was a built in and needed to fit in the cabinet perfectly, I was forced to buy another one. Hope it lasts longer than 1 1/2 years!

we just had this GE profile microwave got installed, its turning on and does not heat. After repeated request to schedule service engineer visit they sent a service engineer. He mentioned there is an issue with the part so that's why its not heating up and it may take a week or two. Please note I just started using this microwave and very first time found its not doing it basic functionality of heating. Not sure how they even shipped it without any quality check. Now I have no idea on how long I need to wait, as once the part is received I again need to wait for service engineer appointment and there is no way to escalate the service request. This is the first time ever I had such experience with any product. I may have to live with the compromised new microwave with some part replaced which is a very simple appliance to begin with.
